Vivienne Stacey shares the importance of understanding society’s sociological impact on the lives of Muslim women. Muslims are incredibly diverse and so are the societies in which they reside. We should avoid overgeneralizing or minimizing the impact that Islam has on societies as well as the impact societies have on Islam.
